I love adding dimension to a reception room. One of the best ways to do this is to have multiple heights in your centerpieces.
Instead of having all one height centerpieces, change it up! If you have 20 tables, have 10 of them be high centerpieces and the other 10 low centerpieces. They still have the same color scheme, incorporate some of the same flowers, etc, but they are simply different heights in different size vases. If you have 21 tables, divide it into 3. Have 7 high centerpieces, 7 medium centerpieces, 7 low centerpieces. The possisbilities are endless!
It adds such an incredible look to the room and really make the centerpieces stand out! Just a little recommendation for today!

I did not have a Halloween Wedding this weekend, but I wanted to do a short post in honor of Halloween.
What does Halloween and Weddings have in common?
Evil Spirits.
What? You think I am a crazy wedding planner, huh? I actually do not think that weddings have anything to do with evil spirits but I did learn something new. I am constantly researching anything and everything that has to deal with weddings, and here is what I read:
First, bride’s carry bouquets because in ancient times, it was believed that a bride could get rid of evil spirits by carrying strong-smelling herbs and spices.
Second, bridesmaids used to wear the exact same outfit as the bride, so that evil spirits would be confused as to just who was to be married.
I learned both of these things from this wedding book. (Page 80 and page 106).

And my helper turns 6 months old today! Here are a couple pictures of my sweet daughter Adelyn, or Addie. She is 6 months old today and I can not believe it. She is a doll and I absolutely love her! She is going to be such a great helper years down the road (and if she wants to). 
I am getting really excited for this wonderful couple, Sarah and Sam! Their wedding is this weekend and I have been busy confirming vendors and finalizing details. She has chosen a gorgeous venue where she will have the wedding and the reception all in one location. I can not wait to see all the details come together!
