Embellished Weddings in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Besides everything, there are a few things that stand out to me at every wedding that I am involved with. Every wedding is unique and is a perfect glimpse of what the bride and groom are like. You can tell what their style is, what their passion is, what their personality is like, etc.

I have already jumped full on into wedding season after coming out of maternity leave. As I start this new 2009 wedding season, I want to update the blog a little bit. A few things you will notice that are different on the blog:

1. Consistency. My past blogging experience was pretty irregular. I promise that 2009 will be different. You will see more posts concerning everything WEDDING!

2. Recaps. After every wedding I do, I am going to post what I loved the most about that wedding. I honestly do love every single detail that comes along with planning a wedding, but there is always something that really stands out to me. That is what I am going to blog about. Perhaps, you could even incorporate it in your own day!

…These two AMAZING individuals are going to become ONE! I could not be any happier for them. Whitney hired me as her wedding planner right after they got engaged and we have been having a blast planning her wedding! She has an INCREDIBLE Bridal Party and all of her bridesmaids and maid-of-honor have done SO MUCH to help her that I feel like I am not working hard enough! What a blessing to have such incredible friends that love helping the bride on the biggest day of her life!

They will be getting married on May 1st at a gorgeous wedding venue (I will leave private so we don’t have any wedding crashers ). I just got her invitation in the mail yesterday and it is PERFECT! I can not wait to see all of the details that we have been planning on paper turn into reality in ONE MONTH! It is going to be one stunning and extremely personal wedding! There is nothing better than walking into a wedding and saying, “this is so them.”

Whitney, please know how happy I am for you! These last 4 weeks may get crazy but we can do it, one step at a time. Let’s get out our lists and just start checking things off as we finish them! You are going to be a STUNNING BRIDE! You will be glowing and radiant. I can only imagine Jeremiah’s face when he sees you for the first time!

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of one of the biggest days of your life. It is an honor. I hope it is better than you could have dreamed of.
