Rain or Shine, Have an Umbrella Anytime!

Friday, July 10th, 2009

There sure is something that I love about pictures that have incorporated an umbrella into them. Umbrellas are not only used to block out the rain, but they are also used for a fun bridal party shot, or a romantic husband/wife shot. Sometimes, the umbrella is also used to hide the bride as she walks a far path to get to the aisle. I have coordinated a few outdoor weddings where the bride provided umbrellas to all of her guests to keep out of the sun and into the shade. umbrellaspread

Here a few websites that I have found that offer some cute umbrellas to use in your wedding:

1. Pamelas Parasols

2. Cultural Intrigue

3. Pare Umbrella

4. Bella Umbrella

Down the Aisle

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

Brides have many options of what they want to line the aisle that they will be walking down. Some brides choose to leave it plain and not have anything. Some brides choose to have a runner, which could be plain or monogrammed. Another option is to line the aisle with tulle and/or flower arrangements. One of my personal favorites is to have pomander flowers balls attached to shepherds crooks or something of the like. Or you could simply fill the entire all with rose petals of the colors of your wedding.

There are some venues where it simply looks amazing to leave it plain and not add anything. However, adding a little something down the aisle does make a bigger difference than you might think. I recommend that you look into your options and your style and your budget and find the perfect option to line the aisle.
